Big Love and JFK

Big Love is about a polygamist played by Bill Paxton married to three very lovely women. Much more than a soap opera, it's filled with intrigue and subplots and mysteries. But the biggest mystery might not concern fundamentalist polygamy cults or why so many women find Bill Paxton's lunkhead character so attractive. In fact the biggest mystery is only tangently related to Big Love at all.

Check out The Day Bill Paxton Saw John F. Kennedy for the full details, but this photo...

...shows an eight year old Bill Paxton (conveniently circled) in a crowd greeting President Kennedy in Fort Worth, Texas on November 22, 1963. Before the day was over, Kennedy would be dead. This event must have played big in the young Paxton's mind as he has stated that he wants to make a movie about the Kennedy assassination.

From cinemablend.com:
"His second project, one which Paxton says is still five years or more off, is much more audacious. Bill says his dream project is to 'make a movie about the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy.'"

I leave it for the reader to decide what to make of this interesting fact, but I must implore you to watch the excellent Big Love. It's the best show on HBO by far.
