I confess: I have a new crush about, oh, every 23 minutes, and these are just a few of the latest examples. My crushes know no bounds – whether it’s films, food, and fashion or music, TV shows, and pop culture trends, once I catch the bug, all bets are off. I fidget with my bracelets, put my deodorant to the test, stumble over my words. Come to think of it, my reaction hasn’t changed much since sixth grade when the opening riff to Sweet Child O’ Mine or the sight of Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street would send me (and my diary) into a tailspin.
What has changed is now I’m going public. Each month, CRUSH will attempt to uncover what’s truly worthy of your devotion, and the games officially begin next Thursday January 15. No need to RSVP, I'll just mark you down as "Confirmed." Oh, and Oprah’s Favorite Things, consider yourself on notice - there’s a new Like-Like Sheriff in town, and her name is Sarah Grace McCandless.

Poor Judy Greer. Some day she'll get a hit show or movie where she is the star. (I was forced to sit through 27 Dresses. It stunk, she was awesome. Such is her life.)
Ok, this will be fun. I am continually amused at the crushes that I share with SG, particularly since we have a 26 yr. age difference. This is always hopeful for the parent of the child that has become the "go to person" for all things related to pop culture. Joy, re: Jennifer Gardner--me too!

Love this. Many many crushes. Natalie Morales, Matt Damon, James Mcavoy. I'm also ashamed to admit Brad and Angelina. I really want to move on from them with all of the overexporsure, but I see interviews with either one and I'm hooked again. Finally, from the mother in me, the latest crush is my 4-month-old daughter. While I'm at work, I cannot stop watching a video of her smiling. Good luck - it will be great!
