Part 1 can be found HERE.

9. Steven Moffat (writer, show-runner)

Moffat has the unique opportunity to be caretaker of two of the most beloved properties in popular culture: Doctor Who and Tintin.

Originally intending to write the upcoming trilogy of Tintin CGI-motion capture films for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, Moffat was interrupted by the WGA strike and was only able to complete the first screenplay before taking over as lead writer and executive producer for the fifth Doctor Who series, succeeding Russell T Davies.

Moffat, who previously wrote the series Jekyll with James Nesbitt, is also working on a contemporary update of Sherlock Holmes called Sherlock for broadcast later this year. A lifelong fan of Doctor Who, Moffat commented on his promotion as "the proper duty of every British subject to come to the aid of the TARDIS."

8. Marvel Studios (Geek Studio)

Under Marvel's complete control, these films initiated one of the most interesting initiatives, creating a universe within a series of films. All leading to their upcoming production slate which includes Jon Favreau's Iron Man II, Kenneth Branagh's Thor, Joe Johnston's Captain America and Edgar Wright's Ant-Man, all of which will lead to the July 15, 2011 release, The Avengers.

In addition, Marvel is co-producing this year's X-Men Origins: Wolverine (directed by Gavin Hood), David S. Goyer's X-Men Origins: Magneto, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4 & 5 and X-Men First Class.

The cartoonist's cartoonist, best known for his creation, Fred the Clown, the silent-moviesque adventures of his title character. Known for his clean, distinctive artwork, Langridge started 2009 with his Marvel digital comic, Fin Fang Four with Scott Gray.
