I’m a single gal. Never married, no kids. And I’m happy for the most part, don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything at all. I'm a teacher so I'm surrounded by them all damn day. Most of my friends, married and single, have kids. And if I were in the position to have kids and had too many problems with getting pregnant, I’d let it go.
I'm a very pragmatic person and after a few tries, would take it as a sign that maybe I'm not supposed to have kids. I think that if you try way too hard to have a kid that maybe you’re not supposed to have kids. But that's just me.
Take the case of Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. “Octomom.” Obviously she is a mental patient. Oh, and the funny thing is that SHE USED TO WORK AT A MENTAL HOSPITAL! According to public documents that were released to the AP, Ms. Suleman suffered depression after she was injured in a riot in 1999 at the state mental hospital where she worked. She collected more than $165,000 in disability payments between 2002-2008 for an injury, which she claimed, left her in constant pain and helped to ruin her marriage.
According to a doctor’s report she had a happy childhood and said that she had three miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies. What do you think her body was telling her? She tried for seven years to get pregnant before doing IVF. What's wrong with adopting if you want kids that damn bad?
As if she doesn't have enough problems, now it seems that she may have had plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie, and people are upset about that too. What do you think?

She now has FOURTEEN CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHT. How do you think she’s going to care for them all? Well, she’s already got a website up with a link to send donations or money to her. Will she get a reality show, like Jon & Kate Plus 8? Or that other show with the Amish/Polygamist looking family – 17 kids and Counting? Maybe she should take bets as to when her uterus goes on strike and stages a walkout. Please go to Wikipedia or another source to read about those two shows. At least the family of seventeen owes it all to not using birth control and their belief in God to determine how many kids they would have. Oooh, and all of the kids have names that start with the letter J.
I will be very upset if she gets ANY public assistance, even food stamps. She needs to sew that thing shut.
Seriously.
Or grow eight arms or something so she can take care of all those kids in a more effecient manner.

Here in MA you have to sign something saying that if you get pregnant with more than 2 or 3 as a result of fertility treatment you will have a "selective reduction." If you don't feel you can sign it they don't implant so many embryos.
For lack of a better saying, people are fucked the fuck up.
Now THAT makes sense!
Let's not forget this woman is living with her parents in a three bedroom house. Most people have to think twice about the costs involved in a single child.
Now imagine.
Every morning.
Fourteen children to get ready for school.
Fourteen lunches to pack.
Fourteen children to bathe and dress.
It's staggering.
And completely irresponsible.
God Bless, America.
She disgusts me to the very core of my soul. And, quite frankly, I don't want to pay for her or her freaking litter.
Someone should pass a law that states people who get artificially inseminated can't receive public support for the resulting spawn.
I think that Norplant should be sprinkled on the food in Jr. High cafeterias.
When I tell people me and my husband could definitely live without kids, they look at us like we're the devil.
