ODDS AND ENDS: APRIL 2

In this week's edition of Odds and Ends: kicks for QuagmireBig Daddy Kane documentary; Air Yeezy takes flight.

Nike SB is honoring Family Guy man of questionable morals and "giggedy" Glen Quagmire with a pair of sneakers. Nike Dunk SBs will have a red and blue colorway with gold stars similar to Quagmire's shirt and pants combo. I just wish the tongue said "Giggidy." That would have made me buy a pair.

Last month, Scion (yeah, the car company) released a documentary on hip-hop icon Big Daddy Kane. The short film looks at the life and legacy of the Godfather of Brooklyn MCs. Frankly, it's overdue. But it's good that the forefathers are being honored while they're still alive. Guess I can't complain about that. You can watch it in its entirety below.

Finally, Kanye West's Air Yeezy sneaker comes out this Saturday.

The $215 sneakers are also known as The McFlys due to being inspired by kicks worn in Back To The Future 2. Since February 2008, sneakerheads have speculated if they'd ever be released to the public or if they were ultra limited editions.

Frankly, they're a bit ugly. If I'm waiting for anything to be sold to the public that was inspired by Back To The Future 2, it's a motherfuckin' hoverboard.

Where's that, Nike?
