Very few cultural icons make it without wearing pants of any kind. Seventy five years ago today, Donald Duck's debut films, The Wise Little Hen was released, introducing this fantastic fowl to the world. Over the years, Donald Duck has appeared in dozens of animated films (both shorts and feature length voiced by the inimitable Clarence Nash), comic books (with the most memorable tales being created by Carl Barks, and later, Don Rosa) and as a part of the Disney pantheon of theme parks, merchandising and a series of anti-war and educational films. In recent years, Donald has also appeared in the video game, Kingdom Hearts.
