FOG! Speaks SHAOLIN COWBOY MOVIE With GEOF DARROW

Today I got a chance to briefly speak with the tallest man in comics, Geof Darrow, about the upcoming film adaptation of his comic, Shaolin Cowboy.

Since the project was first announced in April, little has been revealed, but Darrow confirmed that the movie will not be computer animated, but rather he'll be co-directing the traditionally animated feature with an unnamed Japanese director. The film will remain truthful to his intricately detailed style.

The thrice Eisner award nominated series is drawn by Darrow and c0-written by the Wachowskis, (and published through their Burlyman Entertainment), features an unnamed former Shaolin monk who, with his companion, a talking mule named Lord Evelyn Dunkirk Winniferd Esq. the Third, is walking the earth with a bounty on his head.

Darrow is also the co-creator of the comics Big Guy and Rusty The Boy Robot and Hard Boiled with Frank Miller as well as the conceptual designer/artist for Speed Racer and the Matrix trilogy for the Wachowskis.
