ELECTRA WOW!!! It's The Electra Woman and Dyna Girl 2001 Sequel Pilot!!!

Growing up in the Seventies, Sid and Marty Krofft ruled Saturday morning entertainment and one of their beloved creations were the foxy super-heroines Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. Although fans might remember the series lasting for years, only sixteen segments totaling eight episodes were made for the 1976 season.

The series followed the adventures of the caped crusaders portrayed by Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis, who worked at Newsmaker Magazine and poured themselves into spandex to fight the forces of evil assisted by scientist Frank Heflin.

In 2001, the WB Network commissioned a pilot which served as both a reimagining/sequel to the original series. Markie Post and Anne Stedman portrayed Electra Woman and Dyna Girl 25 years later in the more cynical comedic take on the series.
