Kochalka's Dragon Puncher is a one-two punch of awesome

Sometimes the universe presents you with something so spectacular, so off-the-charts rad that there are no words to properly describe it. One of these is James Kochalka's Dragon Puncher, which follows the adventures of a dragon-fighting cat in a battle suit.

See, I told you words weren't enough.

Dragon Puncher Vol. 1 is an all-ages book that will be available from Top Shelf in July, and it quite honestly sounds like one of the greatest things ever. From the press release:

Meet the Dragon Puncher, a cute but ruthless kitty in an armored battle suit, dedicated to defeating dangerous dragons wherever they may be. The Dragon Puncher and his would-be sidekick Spoony-E (a fuzzy little fellow armed with a wooden spoon) confront a gigantic, drooling dragon and have a ridiculous, hilarious brawl.

Boldly combining Kochalka's signature cartooning with hilarious photography, Dragon Puncher is also a unique visual treat. Kids will go nuts for this goofy backyard adventure.

Nuts, indeed, and there's no doubt this will find its way onto more than one adult comic book fan's bookshelf alongside Kochalka's Johnny Boo and Pinky & Stinky.

Dragon Puncher is a 40-page, full-color hardcover that can be yours for a mere ten bucks.

Looks hilarious (intentionally so perhaps?). The title sounds like a euphemism to me though. In all fairness, everything sounds like a euphemism to me.
