HORRIBLE BOSSES Director Plays WARGAMES

Deadline reports that MGM has chosen director Seth Gordon to helm its reboot of WARGAMES.

The 1983 original starred Mathew Broderick and Ally Sheedy as computer hackers who access a military computer programmed to predict the possible outcomes of nuclear war. They believe they are playing games with the computer until they discover their actions may accidentally trigger WWIII.

Seth Gordon most recently directed the best looking comedy of the summer, HORRIBLE BOSSES, which stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day as three friends who agree to kill each others' bosses played by Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, and Colin Farell. Gordon already has experience directing films about video games having directed my favorite documentary, THE KING OF KONG.

The only question that remains… what beloved 1980s film will be rebooted next?
