Oh, the first looks at new movies are always exciting aren't they. Today has aliens, Avengers, and Spaceships.

First up we get three new images from Men In Black 3 and the first look at Josh Brolin playing a young Tommy Lee Jones. Then we move to The Avengers which shows people walking. It's not that fantastic. And then finally we have some new images for anime fans. It's a first look at Space Battleship Yamato 2199. To prevent any and all spoilers I've put the images after the jump.

Empire Magazine gives us our first look at some new stills from Men in Black 3. The new images show Will Smith at Agent J and Josh Brolin playing a young Agent K, normally Tommy Lee Jones. The mag goes on sale Thursday, but comicbookmovie gives us a first look at the MIB back in time. MIB 3 is set to open on May 25th, 2012.
When K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him -- secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Empire will also have this new pic from The Avengers in the upcoming issue. As I'm sure you already know, the Disney Pictures film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan SkarsgÄrd and Samuel L. Jackson.

The team is set to assemble in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on May 4th.

Here's a look at Space Battleship Yamato 2199. The project is a remake of the original and was directed by Yutaka Izubuchi. The story in this new version still follows the crew of the ship and their journey to find a solution for humanity after an alienated race irradiates Earth. The project is the first since 2010 when franchise leader Yoshinobu Nishizaki died.

The first two episodes are set to screen early in Japanese theaters on April 7th and the series will then continue on television later in the month.
