Gareth Evans Plans a New RAID, BERENDAL!

Last week, Big Mike Leeder chatted with Gareth Evans about his enthusiastically received film, The Raid.

Now, THR reports that the sequel is already on the fast track.

According to the article, the sequel is tentatively titled Berandal, and will have a  “significantly larger” budget than its predecessor and its shooting schedule will include approximately 100 days of physical production.  Berandal is expected to follow the events of the first film, in which “an Indonesian SWAT team gets trapped in a Jakarta slum and its members are forced to fight their way out.”
