In this weeks gaming round-up we have new Resident Evil 6 footage, a release date for Halo 4 along with some new pics, the trailer for Bethesda's newest game, first footage from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and a new iOS game from Capcom that feature some of Marvel's greatest.

This fall is going to be jam packed with new games that look to be excellent. Resident Evil 6 and Halo 4 will be coming out a month apart, along the latest Transformers game which is now just announced for a fall release, no date yet. This week we got a look at all of those games and now you can see the best of video games news right here instead of reading through the boring stuff.

First up is Capcom. At their yearly event called Captivate, there was a brand new trailer for Resident Evil 6. The earlier looks at the zombie shooter didn't have much in the way of a story, but this one did and lays out the plot of what the next installment in the franchise will hold. In addition to showing some new footage from the game, it was also announced that the launch date has been pushed up to October 2nd instead of November 20th. Here's the trailer for you. Watch it now.

Halo 4 finally has a release date and it's November 6th, 2012. Now that we know when the next entry into one of the biggest video game franchises is, just what will it be about?

Microsoft along with producer 343 Industries said that the next game will be the start of a brand new trilogy with Master Chief. As you may now, last time we say the hero he was in hibernation and headed towards a new planet. Called The Forerunner Trilogy, the game will pick up when he wakes up.

In addition to the single player story, the studios are also working on a completely new multiplayer system along with episodic gameplay that will work its way into the single player story. Check out a few pictures from the game which show a new look for the brutes, the HUD and the new look of the Reds and Blues. There are also a lot of new pictures over at AllGamesBeta

So remember to not forget, Halo 4. November 6.

Dishonored is the latest game from developer Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The new game for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC is about a "supernatural assassin driven by revenge." The cinematic trailer for the upcoming game was release the past week.

In the game you framed for murder after once having the trusted title of bodyguard of the Empress. With an oppressive government, odd technology and "dark forces," your task is to use your supernatural abilities along with weapons and gadgets to "creatively eliminate your targets."

In the trailer you'll see that the game looks to be a bit of a cross between multiple games that I say looks like a blend of Assassins Creed and Bioshock. The difference with this game is the RPG element that gives you the ability to choose how you will control your character considering that every action has a consequence. Each mission will play differently with the choices that are made by the player.

Capcom also had another game they wanted to talk about and that is Marvle Vs. Capcom 2 for the iPhone and iPod touch. I think it's one of the best fighting games there is and it will be interesting to see how it is ported to the idevices.

With 56 characters ranging from classics like Ryu and Wolverine to Iron Man and Mega Man (no relation). This version of the game also incorporates a new "Variable System" which is basically a new form of tag-team so you can have two team members fighting on your side. The team fighting element also is essential for the Team Hyper Combo.

The promised action-packed arcade fighting experience will hit the app store this week on April 25th for the iPhone and iPod touch.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm starting to look forward to this new Transformers game. With this new footage from Kotaku, the game is looking like it will be an interesting first-person brawler. Grimlock is the star of this new footage which shows the Dinobot leader in fighting form and his dino form.

High Moon Studios is making the game which is scheduled for an August release. Creative director Matt Tieger talks a bit about the character and what it will be like to fight as him.

The story jumps between Autobots and Decepticons, allowing the player to experience both sides of the story which takes place on the Transformers' home planet of Cybertron. I would embed the video, but Kotaku doesn't want me to, so I will send you there to check out the awesome looking game footage.
