JACKIE CHAN Isn't Retired Yet, He's Got Another Action-Comedy On The Way

Jackie Chan must have been lying to us when he said he was retiring from action films, because now he's getting ready to start work on a new action comedy set in Asia and Eastern Europe.

Based on an original idea from Chan, the story follows a detective who has to find an American gambler who owes a large amount to a Macau casino syndicate. The film also has setting in Hong Kong and mainland China.

The untitled project has Jay Longino signed on to write the script for JC Group International, Chan's production company. While chan is producing, he is also set to star in the film.

The actors most recent work has been in Chinese, but this project will be done in English. His latest film, Chinese Zodiac had him directing, writing, producing and starring in.

Longino's latest project was the TV pilot Raising Blind which he wrote and Vin Diesel and Ben Younger are executive producing.
