Ryan Reynolds will don the kilt and sword to play Connor MacLeod, in a reboot of the Highlander franchise for director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Based on the original film written Gregory Widen and directed by Russell Mulcahy, the plot revolves around an immortal Scottish swordsman must confront the last of his immortal opponent, a murderously brutal barbarian who lusts for the fabled "Prize".
Maybe we'll see Javier Bardem in the Ramirez role....
