One of FOG!'s very own columnists, Emma-Jane Corsan [Excuse Me While I Geek Out] has a proposition for you. As of yesterday her film production group became an official company, Cheesemint Productions.
Yesterday also marked the launch of their IndieGogo campaign to raise additional funds for their new rebooted web series, Unlocked.
Unlocked is a comedic web series about a group of friends with shared interests in all things geek; video games, comics, films, books and even RPGs.
Emma-Jane and Co. are passionate about this project and have so far poured their own money, sweat and tears into it. Despite this, production has currently ceased due to waiting on new equipment to arrive and a lack of monetary funds. They all have full time jobs and so far have bought all the equipment and backed the cost of hiring venues, making props and costumes themselves. This equates to approx £4330 ($6743).
They need your support to finish making Unlocked, so give their IndieGogo video a look and find out more and get a sneak preview of what they've filmed so far, in return you'll get various perks based on your donation, such as personalised tweets, signed posters, a copy of the DVD and even an afternoon of gaming with the 'Mints!
