OK. Here's the pitch, aliens invaded earth 65 million years ago and the dinosaurs had to fight back and protect the planet for all of living kind. Oh! and Grant Morrison is writing the whole thing. But who will direct it you ask? How about the guy that already knows a lot about aliens Men In Black director Barry Sonnenfeld.
I know, right? It sounds fantastic.
Yahoo! is making this wonderful thing happen with the new motion comic Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens that will show exclusively on Yahoo! Screen. The motion comic is a version of the graphic novel from Liquid Comics and will launch on July 23rd.
The story takes place before recorded history when giant reptile like beasts saved the planet from an invasion by aliens. You can watch the trailer right here which has a little interview with the creators as well. Of all the mash-ups to be coming out right now, this one looks to take the cake.
