And this August, Adult Swim’s got just what the doctor ordered with the release of the Squidbillies Volume 5 DVD, packed to the gills with all 10 episodes from the series’ fifth season and bonus content including Art + Music, Pete Stuff and behind-the-scenes featurettes. In this latest installment, everyone’s favorite family of inbred hillbilly squids lay out the welcome mat for special guest appearances by T-Pain, Kevin Gillespie, Jesco White, Riley Martin and Billy Joe Shaver. Ain’t that exciting?! Squidbillies Volume 5 will be available starting August 7 for the suggested retail price of $19.97.
Co-created by David Willis (Aqua Unit Patrol Squad) and Jim Fortier (The Brak Show), Squidbillies follows the unconventional lives of a family of squids left behind when the pre-historic oceans receded from the North Georgian mountains.
