I am super hungry *eye's gummy vitamins appreciatively* and for some reason these Head Crab Half-Life inspired cupcakes look fantastic.
Now, maybe it's because I really like cupcakes or that I have no problem with a giant blob of vicious hatred toward noggins on top of it, but these seem like they would be a lot of fun to serve at children's parties.
And, after reading Tumblr blogger Artistic Aviary's description of creating these culinary masterpieces, they don't appear all that difficult to make:
Today my cupcakes were attacked by a mischievous headcrab! He wiggled around a lot and tried to eat all of the cakes, but eventually I managed to contain him and he’s currently munching on a cupcake in my fridge.
The cupcake is white cake (with parchment paper because I couldn’t find the cupcake liners) and cream cheese frosting! The headcrab itself is a marshmallow that I re-shaped and covered in fondant, painted with food coloring.
Looks like I got my neighborhood Halloween party food covered this year.
