NIGHTMARE ON SESAME STREET...I Always Knew There Was Something Very, Very Wrong With Bert

Like most kids, I grew up watching Sesame Street, but even back then I felt that there was something a bit off about it (like why is Big Bird the only one to ever see Mr. Snuffleupagus?) and maybe the reason behind that feeling is that off-camera characters like Animal turn into The Thing.

Hmmm...

Anyway, this tableau to childhood nightmares was created by artist Isaac Bidwell (who obviously has some serious Ernie issues) and should only be shown to kids who have already given up on life or are questioning the whole "Sunday School Thing" so as not to damage an innocent psyche.

One weird fact about this crazed ode to loveable evil, the PBS Parents website really seems to like Mr. Bidwell's depiction of the loveable Muppet clan saying (and I quote): "...Elmo’s world is a lot scarier than it used to be now that the Sesame Street massacre has arrived thanks to artist Isaac Bidwell."

In all truthfulness, I'm kinda frightened by PBS now.

You know, the next time there's a fundraising drive, maybe I should give them money, if they're that crazy there's a good chance they may come after me for not supporting Nova
