End of Watch

From David Ayer, the writer of Training Day, comes a gripping, action-packed cop drama starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña. In their mission to abide by their oath to serve and protect, Officers Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Peña) have formed a powerful brotherhood to ensure they both go home at the end of watch. But nothing can prepare them for the violent backlash that happens after they pull over the members of a notorious drug cartel for a routine traffic stop. Seen from the point of view of the officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, dash cams and citizens caught in the line of fire, a 360˚perspective creates a gritty, compassionate and intense portrait of the city's darkest streets, and the brave men and women patrolling them.

Fat Kid Rules the World

Marking Matthew Lillard's ( Scooby-Doo, Scream, SLC Punk!) directorial debut, and based on the bestselling novel by the same title (by American author K. L. Going in 2003), Fat Kid Rules the World is a story for everybody who has ever needed to find their inner rock star. Set against the backdrop of the Seattle music scene, Fat Kid Rules the World is a coming-of-age story about two dysfunctional teenagers searching for something more out of their completely hopeless existence. Troy Billings (Jacob Wysocki) is fat. His life sucks. He s about to end it all by jumping in front of a bus, when Marcus McCrae (Matt O'Leary), a charismatic punk rock superstar, tackles him to the ground and changes his life forever.

Tai Chi Zero

In legendary Chen Village, everyone is a martial arts master, using their powerful Chen Style Tai Chi in all aspects of their lives. Lu Chan (Yuan Xiaochao) has arrived to train, but the villagers are forbidden to teach Chen Style to outsiders, and do their best to discourage him by challenging him to a series of fights. Everyone, from strong men to young children, defeats him using their Tai Chi moves.

But when a man from the village's past returns with a frightening steam-powered machine and plans to build a railroad through the village at any costs, the villagers realize they may have no choice but to put their faith in Lu Chan... who has a secret power of his own.

Dead Sushi

Keiko (Rina Takeda), the daughter of a legendary sushi chef, runs away from home when his Karate-style regimen becomes too severe. Finding work at a rural hot springs inn, she is ridiculed by the eccentric staff and guests, including the employees of a pharmaceutical firm there on a work retreat. But little do they know that a disgruntled former researcher has also come to the inn with a plan for revenge, using a serum he developed that can awaken the murderous instincts of ordinary sushi, turning it into bloodthirsty monsters! Keiko must use both her sushi training and her martial arts skills to save the others and defeat the flying killers.  

Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning

Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins, Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski and Dolph Lundgren star in Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning which ups the ante in the Universal Soldier series giving you more hard-hitting bloody no-holds-barred fighting action. John (Adkins, The Expendables 2) wakes up from a coma to discover his wife and daughter were slaughtered in a brutal home invasion. Haunted by images of the attack he vows to kill the man responsible Luc Deveraux (Van Damme). While John tries to piece his reality back together things get more complicated when he is pursued by a relentless UniSol (Arlovski). As John gets closer to Deveraux and the rouge army of genetically enhanced warriors led by back-from-the-dead leader Andrew Scott (Lundgren) John discovers more about himself and begins to call into question everything he believed to be true.

Nobody Walks
Peter (John Krasinski), a Hollywood sound designer, has agreed to help Martine (Olivia Thirlby) with her experimental art film as a favor to his wife (Rosemarie DeWitt). Martine, a beautiful and driven 23-year-old artist, comes to stay in the family's pool house at their posh Silver Lake home to work on her film. Her arrival ignites raw emotions and desires throughout the entire family, forcing everyone to confront the new landscape that emerges in her wake.


Deadly Blessing

Officer Down

One year ago, dirty cop Detective Callahan (Stephen Dorff) was shot in a drug bust gone wrong, and saved by an anonymous stranger who gave him a second chance to clean up his life. But when the stranger finally comes forward, seeking revenge against the men responsible for a string of assaults on young women at a local strip club, Callahan must go rogue to find the attacker, in an effort to hide how his past played a part in these crimes. His desperation to find the attacker, and cover his tracks, takes him down a violent road of deception, cover-ups and fraud. Can he play the ''good cop'' and track down the assailant, while still keeping his reputation clean?

Directed by Brian A. Miller and written by John Chase, Officer Down also stars Dominic Purcell, AnnaLynne McCord, David Boreanaz, Walton Goggins, Stephen Lang and James Woods.

Nature Calls
Determined to honor his father's scouting legacy and mount one last comeback for his dwindling troop, Assistant Scoutmaster Randy Stevens (Patton Oswalt) pays a visit to his business-minded brother Kirk (Johnny Knoxville), who is throwing a television-themed slumber party for his newly adopted 10-year-old son at his McMansion. Randy pressures the boys to secretly ditch the party and join him on a weekend scout trip. Pursued by Kirk and his security guard (Rob Riggle), the adventure lands the boys in trouble at every turn, pits them against angry parents and park rangers, yet ultimately turns the group of sheltered kids into a troop to be reckoned with.


Searching for Sugar Man

Searching for Sugar Man tells the incredible true story of  Rodriguez the greatest `70s rock icon who never was. After being discovered in a Detroit bar Rodriguez's sound struck 2 renowned producers and they signed a recording deal. But when the album bombed the singer disappeared into obscurity. A bootleg recording found its way into apartheid South Africa and over the next two decades he became a phenomenon. The film follows the story of two South African fans who set out to find out what really happened to their hero.

Cujo

Based on Stephen King's terrifying novel - A lovable St. Bernard becomes rabid and terrorizes a small community. In rural Maine, married couple (Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh-Kelly) struggle to repair their crumbling marriage, while their young son (Danny Pintauro) befriends the hulking, but lovable St. Bernard owned by the town's mechanic (Ed Lauter). With her husband out of town, she and her son take their decrepit car for repairs at the mechanic's remote farmhouse. As the aging Pinto sputters, stops and dies, Cujo appears. The once docile dog has undergone a hideous transformation - and has become a demonic, impeccable killer possessed of an almost supernatural strength and unholy cunning. Lewis Teague (Cat's Eye) directed this critically acclaimed spine-chilling tour-de-force.

The Duellists

Keith Carradine and Harvey Keitel star in Ridley Scott's first motion picture, The Duellists.   Two officers in Napoleon’s army violently confront each other in a series of duels. The duels begin as a reaction to a minor incident and escalate into a consuming passion that rules the lives of both men for a period of 30 years. Based on Joseph Conrad’s story, The Duellists explores the themes of obsession, honor and violence. Awarded Best Debut Film at the  1977 Cannes Film Festival, this visually stunning film weaves a compelling story through to an unexpected conclusion.
