This is another issue where a DC character crosses over with the Looney Tunes universe. DC seemed obsessed with this idea and so here we are!
This is a bit of fun that did get a little too silly for my comic book tastes.
This issue starts off with a bunch of witches outside. They are putting together something in an cauldron that is supposed to change reality! And then, it gets really strange.
Catwoman is out on the rooftops when suddenly a portal opens in the sky!
And what falls out?
A cat!
Catwoman picks him up and it appears to be a redone Sylvester from Looney Tunes! But that’s not all that appears in this universe!
Black Canary is performing in a club. She gets offstage and what does she find waiting for her? Why, it is a redone Tweety Bird from the Looney Tunes universe! There is a bunch of conversation and it is discovered that the universe is in jeopardy!
Eventually this leads Catwoman to fight Black Canary. They then solve their differences and work together with Tweety and Sylvester to save the universe!
The story is very basic and it’s just okay. The art by Miranda is pretty decent and it has a great design sense. I enjoyed the story enough but it was totally unnecessary. Most of these crossovers are.
The second story has Catwoman going into the Looney Tunes universe. It’s rather slight but does have a few laughs.
Overall this isn’t too bad, and I enjoyed it just enough.
