This is just a generic book. It’s such a shame as Tom King’s Walmart book is of the highest quality.

This just feels like a generic book that was trying to appeal to as many people as possible. Sadly, I’m not sure in the end that it’ll appeal to anyone.

First off, this is a tale of Wonder Woman it seems. It starts off with her and Steve Trevor on the beach. They are having a grand old time! But you just know that it’s not going to last long. And of course, it doesn’t.

There’s a fire raging and Wonder Woman must come to the rescue!

She sees all of the firemen who have been hurt by this blazing fire. But she shows up and it’s time to stop it.

And guess what? She stops the fire! Hooray! She even goes for a drink with the firemen after! Life is good! She returns to her current accommodations and finds that Steve Trevor has gone missing! She then sets off to find him. And it’s all done in the plainest way possible.

You can’t fault artist Char Hardin. The art isn’t spectacular but it’s capable enough. The story is just boring with no real drama to it. At least it’s short. Believe me, it’s a small mercy that I’ll take gladly.

RATING: D+
