Fox picks up RAISING HOPE for full season

Greg Garcia may have found his next niche after My Name Is Earl.
His latest show, freshman sitcom Raising Hope, has been picked up for its full 22 episodes. Fox becomes the first network to jump into the renewal ring this fall.
Hope, which follows a dysfunctionally sweet working-class family trying to raise a baby, premiered to 7.5 million viewers last month. Following Glee in the 9 p.m. slot on Tuesdays, drew 6.3 million viewers this week despite heavy competition from other networks.

Fox also says Hope has room to grow since so far it rates as the No. 2 new comedy among adults 18-34 this season (there are six total new comedies) and first among teens.
