A NOSTALGIC LOOK BACK AT THE INTERNET CIRCA 1994

Ok so the following Today show clip has been around for a while and I’m sure everyone has seen it, but it cracks me up to no end to see Bryant Gumble freak out and yell:

“What is the internet? Do people write to it like mail?”

Ahhh…it’s fun to remember a time when people were once accosted by CDs in the mail from AOL, where innocent chat rooms turned into virtual orgies and where one, sad 20 year-old girl sat in front of a huge monitor and patiently waited four or five minutes to “Go On the Line” as I affectionately called it.

Clip after the break.
