Comic News Rodeo – 3/14/11

Brightest Day Aftermath: The Search will hit shelves in June from writer Jonathan Vankin and artist Marco Castiello. From the DC Blog: “the new protector of Earth has been chosen – but one reluctant hero makes a return to try and convince Batman, Superman and the rest of the DC Universe’s heroes that this may not be a good thing at all.”
Bleeding Cool reports on Grenoble’s new superhero of recycling – SUPER TRI! Personally, I prefer Seattle’s TRANSITMAN!

Marvel has released another teaser for Fear Itself, this one featuring Ghost Rider.  More details will probably be given during C2E2 this weekend.
Marvel Comics has also announced that Eisner Award nominee artist Michael Lark will be doing the art for Dark Tower: The Gunslinger – The Battle of Tull #1.  He joins writers Peter David and Robin Furth.  The book should be on the shelves in June.

Blake Masters, creator of Showtime’s The Brotherhood, is coming to comics for Boom! Studios with Insurrection v3.6.  A nice interview with him can be found over at Newsarama.

In anticipation of the April 6th release of Madman All-New Giant-Size Super-Ginchy Special, there’s a fantastic interview with Mike Allred over at Comic Book Resources.  Mike talks religion, music, movies, and the future of Madman.

Over at Comics Alliance, J.H. Williams III tries to explain why Batwoman #1 is not out yet.  He does provide some seriously nice art to try to make up for it, though.
