A seventy-five year old Georgian woman (that would be the former Soviet Union Georgia) went digging for copper wire in the ground to sell for chump change only to knock out the internet for THE ENTIRE COUNTRY OF ARMENIA after massacring a fiber-optic cable instead.
Having halted the flow of information for twelve hours, the “Spade-Hacker”, as she is being called, faces three years in prison on property damage charges.
Due to the fact that the woman is not a flight risk, she has been released back into society pending the investigation and subsequent trial.
As if that could possibly halt her evil-doing…
After the break is a video, narrated by a drunk English bloke, that breaks down what exactly happened (although, I’m pretty sure none of it can be corroborated)
