I’m not super into the whole breeding thing for a myriad of reasons (most of which have to do with the fact that I’m pretty sure I will give birth to a cheerleader who likes musical theater and it will destroy me) but sometimes, when I spy a Star Wars onesie, I think about chucking my birth control and yelling to my husband at the moment of completion:
AT THAT SPEED DO YOU THINK YOU CAN PULL OUT IN TIME!?
Because, really, with all the faux geeks out there, shouldn’t we real-life basement dwellers up our ranks a bit in solidarity?
And, if you want actual proof that you can mold your offspring into an awesome display of geekitude that will make you proud, watch the following video of a five-year-old who, for a school talent show, gave the Pandorica speech from Dr. Who (the eleventh doctor, Matt Smith).
I’m telling you, this geek parenting thing can be done…maybe.
Video after the break.
