|Durham District School Board|
Jack Christie is/was a student at the Donald A. Wilson Secondary School in Whitby, Ontario when he suddenly found himself in the position of being “Indefinitely Suspended” after YouTube videos surfaced of his animations he made for his Economics and Politics class.
These particular videos were not only shown in class for credit, but were thoroughly enjoyed by his peers (by the way, they are completely hilarious).
The school board, upon learning that Master Christie had released them on the web, requested quite loudly that he had to remove them and Christie refused. He was then put on suspension with no end date…because that’s what you do to bright kids that actually attempt to use their brains and be creative.
Chrisitie’s peers were having none of that, by God! and started a petition to have the creative animator re-instated as a 12th grader but, once again, the trolls of the school board shut down their efforts by letting those who were gathering up signatures know that if they didn’t cease their activities immediately, they too would find themselves fucked.
So, Christie did what any amazingly articulate teen would do in this situation, he made a rebuttal video (which will be shown after the break).
Well done sir, and may I offer you some advice: if you don’t make it through high school due to your anarchy…you will always have a place here in the states, working as an Adult Swim animator.
