Although Guillermo del Toro is considered to be a creative visionary now, his first Hollywood production (and sophomore film) was a negative experience. The film was cursed with budget issues, constant rewrites and constant creative battles with producer Bob Weinstein.
Now, Lionsgate is releasing the film on Blu-ray with a new Director’s cut and a number of special features arriving on September 27th. Full details after the jump.
