Brad Pitt might be teaming up with director James Gray for the action film, The Gray Man.
The screenplay by Adam Cozad was ranked on the 2010 Black List as one of the best unproduced scripts in Hollywood.
The premise focuses on Court Gentry, also known as the Gray Man, a CIA operative-turned-assassin targeted for elimination who must race against time and teams of government assassins in an effort to save the lives of the children who don’t know he exists.
Pitt has always struck me as a stronger character actor than leading man and an action film could be a nice departure for the star, next seen in Moneyball this fall. Pitt is currently starring in and producing the zombie apocalyptic film, World War Z.
