BOND 23 Gets a Shooting Location and a Bond Girl

The next Bond movie will be the twenty third film in the series.

While Javier Bardem has been casr as the latest Bond villain and Miss Moneypenny will be played by Naomie Harris, there was no word on who the Bond Girl would be.

Until now.

Twitch is reporting that Berenice Marlohe will be joining the cast of the next film to play the role that has previously been filled by names like Ursula Andress, Barbara Bach and Halle Berry.

Though more recently the role has gone to unknowns who later go on to become stars.

Marlohe is a French actress who has worked on film but is transitioning to features. She is currently filming Un bonheur n’arrive jamais seul (Happiness Never Comes Alone).

Also in Bond 23 news, it was reported by MI6-HQ that the opening scenes of the film will be shot in Istanbul, Turkey.

The city has also been used in Bond films From Russia with Love and The World Is Not Enough.

At this point it’s unknown if the city will be playing itself or doubling for another city.

The latest Bond adventure will be directed by Sam Mendes and has a script by John Logan and will arrive in theaters on November 9, 2012.
