The two are set to appear in the film which is roughly based on a “19-year-old Channing Tatum’s experience as a male stripper. It’s likely that Nash will be part of the male-stripper troupe according to Deadline, but THR, who broke news of Brandt’s part, say nothing of who or what she may play in the film.
The film is set to be directed by Steven Soderbergh with Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer in starring roles. The rest of the cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Cody Horn, Joe Mangianello, Riley Keough, Olivia Munn, and Gabriel Iglesias.
The story will see Tatum’s character teaching Pettyfer, the new guy, about everything from stage performance, to money management to rules on dating female fans.
Nash has been seen in The Longest Yard, The Punisher, and Dead or Alive. He also had a role in the upcoming Rock of Ages from Adam Shankman. Brandt, on the other hand, is the co-star of Breaking Bad and has been seen on ER, Boston Legal and will appear in the seasonpremiere of Private Practice.
