Martin Scorsese recently previewed Hugo at the New York Film Festival as a work in progress. When the screening was over Scorsese received a standing ovation from the crowd and now a new trailer for Scorsese’s family film has been released.
Hugo revolves around an orphan boy who lives a secret life behind the scenes in a Paris train station in the 1930’s. The boy is trying to unravel a mystery that involves his late father and a robot.
The film stars newcomer, Asa Butterfiled (The Wolfman) in the lead role and his supporting cast includes: Chloe Moretz (Let Me In, Kick Ass), Ben Kingsley (Sexy Beast, Shutter Island), Jude Law (Repo Men, Sherlock Holmes), Ray Winstone (The Departed, 44 Inch Chest), Christopher Lee (Lord of the Rings, Season of the Witch), Emily Mortimer(Shutter Island, Red Belt) , and Sacha Baron Cohen (Bruno, Borat).
Hugo will open in theaters on November 23rd.
