The Film Festival Hit THE ITALIAN KEY Gets A Trailer


The Italian Key is the feature film debut from Finnish director Rosa Caro and follows a 19-year-old orphan girl who inherits an antique key from her recently deceased uncle. She travels to Italy where she befriends three sisters and a ghost, and where she unlocks an old villa and the secrets of her family history with said key.

The Playlist reports that the film has picked up numerous nominations from the eleven film festivals it has played and has won fourteen awards including Best Film, Best Script, and Best Music… to name just a few.

The film has not found US distribution yet, but will open on December 16th in Finland.
