Hi, what are you looking for?

Here’s a romantic drama with a twist: A chef (Ewan McGregor) and a scientist (Eva Green) fall in love as an epidemic begins in which people start to lose of all of their senses one by one and social order begins to crumble.

The premise sounds interesting and I’m game for any film that has to do with the end of the world (even if it’s set up as a backdrop to the story), but director David Mackenzie’s (Spread, Asylum, Young Adam) track record is pretty rough and it premiered almost a year ago at Sundance… I’m hoping for the best for this one.

The film also stars Connie Nielson (Battle in Seattle, Gladiator, One Hour Photo) Stephen Dillane (44 Inch chest, The Greatest Games Ever Played), and Alastair Mackenzie (The Edge of Love).

IFC Films will roll out Perfect Sense on February 3, 2012.
