Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t really had to worry about his career post Harry Potter. He is now confirmed to play the famous beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
THR reports that casting director Laura Rosenthal confirmed Radcliffe’s role in Kill Your Darlings. He will star alongside Elizabeth Olzen, Dane DeHaan, and Jack Huston. He’s long been reported for role, but this is the first real confirmation.
Radcliffe said to MTV before the confirmation that “It’s one of the things that’s on the table absolutely. It would be amazing and I’m very, very enthused for that script and that young director, [John Krokidas].”
The story is described as a thriller and sees three famous beat poets, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and William Burroughs together in a strange murder story connected to a man that connects them all.
Radcliffe will next be seen in the horror/thriller The Woman in Black and just ended a long run on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
