ELIZABETH BANKS Talks About Her Live-Action Tinkerbell Movie TINK

Elizabeth Banks has proven that she can act in just about genre. Now she may be starring as Tinkerbell in the live action Tink.

In an interview with, Banks said the movie would be little bit like Will Ferrell’s Elf. So look out for Banks as the fairy-dust spreading friend of Peter Pan. The project was announced a while ago, but the project has been in development for a while.

Writer Marti Noxon(Fright Night) will be scripting the project and Banks, McG, and Adam Shankman will be producing.

Talking about the possible film, Banks said:

“It’s a live action Tinkerbell movie sort of in the vein of Elf in which I would play Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell gets thrown out of Never Never Land, and it’s about where she goes and who she meets and the adventures she has….Tinkerbell is one of the greatest characters because she’s mischievous and snarky and fun and sexy and jealous and vengeful

Banks has some doubts about the project though and has said:

We’re in script stage and everybody is really excited and blah, blah, doesn’t mean anything. You might as well not even write it down because who knows, it might not even happen.
