Although Locke & Key never made it to air, Fox has chosen another one of Josh Friedman’s project.
According to Variety, Fox has given a pilot order for the spy drama The Asset. The show is described as a sophisticated “espionager revolving around a femme spy.” The project has been in the works since last summer.
Friedman is known for working on titles like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Bones, and it’s spinoff The Finder. Last year he worked on Locke & Key with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. After the pilot was finished, the project wasn’t picked up and ended up disappearing.
