Sony Buys RUST & BONE

The French film Rust & Bone will now be coming to North America thanks to Sony Pictures Classics.

According to Variety, Jacques Audiard’s romance-suspense flick now has distribution in the Americas. The film recently wrapped production which stars Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenarts.


The project is produced by Pascal Caucheteux and was written by Audiard along with Thomas Bidegain. The film had a budget of $22 million, which made it one of the biggest movies to come out of France.

While Cotillard is obviously the big name of the film Celine Sallette (House of Tolerance) and Bouli Lanners (Nothing to Declare) co-star.
