Arnold Schwarzenegger is lining up a lot of projects, most recently he has been cast in the action thriller Ten.
In a press release, it was announced that the former Governor has picked up a role in David Ayer’s project in addition to his already planned roles in The Expendables 2, The Last Stand, and The Tomb. This new project has a screenplay from X-Men Origins: Wolverine writer Skip Woods and is set to have Ayer directing. Schwarzenegger talked about his new director saying “Ayer is incredibly talented and exactly what I want for a story this compelling.” Though it’s not known what his role will be, Ayer said that it “is going to be an amazing role for Arnold.”
According to the press release, the story is about “an elite DEA task force who deal with the world’s deadliest drug cartels.” After going through what looks like a typical raid on a cartel safe house, it actually turns out that the whole thing was an elaborate theft operations created by the DEA squad. Although it seems like they got off scot-free, the team starts disappearing as they are assassinated one by one.
