JAMES BADGE DALE Armors Up For IRON MAN 3

James Badge Dale (Rubicon, 24) has joined Shane Black’s upcoming Iron Man 3, playing Eric Savin.

This installment of the series is said to be loosely based on Warren Ellis and Adi Granov’s Extremis storyline which focused on a virus spread through nanotechnology.

The Savin character, although not in the storyline, seems like a natural fit.  In the comic book series, Savin is a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, who after stepping on a landmine is resurrected with cybernetic surgery.

The cast also features Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth
Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Jon Favreau and Rebecca Hall.
