This New Trailer For FRANKENWEENIE Is Alive, With Stop-Animation

Here is the brand new trailer for Tim Burton‘s return to animated work, Frankenweenie. Based on one of his first short movies, Burton is directing the film with Disney. The story follows a smart boy who uses his scientific knowledge to bring his dog back to life after he is killed in a car accident.

The stop-motion animated film stars Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Atticus Shaffer, Conchata Ferrell, and Tom Kenny.

The film is scheduled to come to theaters on October 5, 2012.
