THE WIRE May Be Over On TV, But It’s Just Starting On Broadway

The Wire isn’t quite over yet, there is still the musical that you haven’t seen yet.

It’s been nearly 10 years since the HBO series started. The cast is back together one more time to make this very funny clip, maybe you could call it a trailer, for the fictional musical based on the show about inner-city Baltimore.

Funny or Die reunited Michael Kenneth Williams, Sonja Sohn, Andre Roya, Larry Gilliard Jr., and Felicia “Snoop” Pearson. The only two majors that were recast were Dominic West and Idris Elba who have both been busy.

If you’ve never seen the show, get ready to watch all five seasons in just 90 minutes, when it comes out on Broadway. Oh, wait! I forgot. That will never happen.
