Hi, what are you looking for?

Some turtle related news today. First up is the real not rumor news. Turtle Power is documentary created and financed by fans of TMNT that is very close to being finished. Production is done, but they still need some donations to make sure everyone can buy the film or at least be able to see it as it should be.

The doc follows the creation of the Mutant Turtles and takes them all the way through their ninja training to that time where they became the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Featuring tons of interviews with voice actors, puppeteers, artists, writers, and producers, there is a mountain of footage this film claims to have. In the trailer we see names from nearly every incarnation of the reptilian fighting group. So take a look at the trailer and maybe give them a buck or two if you can.

Next up is some news about Michael Bay’s  version of the story which was recently shelved. Latino-Review‘s El Mayimbe claims to have the script and was tweeting some information about what was in the script. Of course with the project being delayed for now, none of this could ever be seen. Here’s what he said about what could possibly be a 2015 film.

This was also from the script that was a large part of why development was shut down. Personally I wouldn’t expect to see anything like this synopsis ever coming true:

“After their planet’s destruction, four turtle-like alien warriors and their master come to Earth, where they join forces with reporter April O’Neil to prevent the extradimensional conqueror Krang from enslaving the human race.”

After the giant amount of fan rage hearing Bay was turning the turtles into aliens, it’s a smart more for the studio to reconsider the script they had.
