Cassie is still reeling from recent events in Hack/Slash, and is out for date night. She doesn’t expect the visitor that rolled up in an Oldsmobile Delta 88 and broke into her house to be friendly, mostly because our friend Ash is pushing a gun into her face!
Seeley has the funny Ash dialogue down pat and after some explaining, some guy is selling pages of the Necronomicon and he needs Cassie’s special skills to hunt him down.
It is not without a confrontation with Cassie’s babysitter Kristen, who has been touched by a demon to close the book out.

Somehow Slott keeps at the fun action here and continues to make the city a safer place by making Superior judge, jury and executioner. How long will Spidey fans be able to handle this status quo? I know I’m on board but I sooooo miss Peter. Slott no doubt has a great way out, but no one knows what it is yet. I want to be in cahoots with Slott so I know what happens next. CAHOOTS!
