Alex de Campi’s VALENTINE Volume 2 Is Now Available On Thrillbent

Alex de Campi pioneered the digital comics movement in 2009 when she released Valentine across numerous platforms and in multiple languages/territories. The Eisner Award nominee was ahead of her time in understanding the power of the digital medium. Alex de Campi’s vision was one of Thrillbent‘s strongest influences and helped Mark Waid recognize how successful a platform devoted to digital comics could be.

Now, de Campi has joined forces with Waid’s digital comics company, Thrillbent, for the release of Valentine Volume 2.

If you think you know where Valentine is going, this is the season that proves you wrong. Valentine finds out where his strange new friends are from… yet Nimue, the woman who rescued him, seems to have remained back in Europe. First, Valentine has to come to terms with magic. Then, he has to come to terms with the awful mistake he makes in brushing off a very prescient warning.

The second volume is now available on Thrillbent, the one-stop showcase for creator-owned digital comics. With a new chapter launching every Thursday, Valentine Volume 2, along with all the other content on the one-stop showcase for creator-owned digital comics, is available with the $3.99 monthly subscription (also available through the website).

For Volume 2, de Campi has reunited with artist Christine Larson, who worked with her on Volume 1.

Also, as a special promotion – all of Valentine Volume 1 is currently free to read. That’s chapter 1-23. For access to Chapter 1, please click HERE.
