Toshiba Releases A Sign-Language Communication ‘Bot…What’s The Proper Way To Sign “ARRRRRRRRRGGGGG!?”

Toshiba, proving that they have the capability to take over the world when, and if they so choose, has developed a communication robot (or Android) that will help assist people in the healthcare field (sure, that’s what they want you to think). According to a press release, the Android will ultimately help the elderly with dementia, and allow family members and healthcare workers keep an eye on grandma (I’m guessing through the ‘bot’s eyeball that will wirelessly transmit video to your computer so you can watch granny take a shit…if you’re into that kind of thing).

Toshiba also has plans to infiltrate the receptionist market as well since, as we all know, receptionists are nothing more than a human statue anyway (and yes, I’m slathering on some serious sarcasm here people).

After the break is a video of the Job Killing robot…Pam Beesley, you might want to watch this.
