ROBIN WILLIAMS On Masks, Comedy and Getting Hairy

I still can’t believe that Robin Williams is gone. Having grown up with him from the time he guest-starred on Happy Days all the way up to, well, his last films coming out now, I guess I just assumed he would be around forever. But that’s the way it is when we take for granted that the people around us, who have seemingly always been there, will continue to just that…be there.

Thank Thor that the internet does what it does best, provide humanity with little remembrances of the people and performances that help make the loss of those we love a little easier, and in this interview with Lawrence Grobel from 1991, Williams engages in a myriad of topics from the masks that people wear, to how comedy helps us all connect with one another and how, when he was young and had to give up something for Lent, he still got hairy palms.

Yep, he still can make us laugh.

Video after the break.
