How California Inspired Jack Black

By Elizabeth Weitz

Commissioned by The California Sunday Magazine and Google Play for the California Inspires Me project, designer and animator, Nicolas Ménard weaves a simple and completely fun animated style to illustrate the connections that California artists have with their state.

In this particular short, actor/musician/comedian Jack Black reminisces on his days of growing up in Hermosa Beach, his early crush on Farrah Fawcett and learning to follow the beat of his own drum.

Video after the break.
